Updates to Visitor Policies

Effective immediately, we have restricted visitors in Prentice Women's Hospital and Feinberg, Galter and Olson Pavilions at Northwestern Memorial Hospital due to 2009 H1N1 influenza. Further restrictions may be enacted. Please check our updated policies for  Prentice Women's Hospital, Prentice Oncology/Hematology floors, and for Feinberg, Galter and Olson Pavilions before visiting.

Just as we want to provide the best possible healthcare experience to our patients, we want to care for their families and friends as well. We've gathered information for you while you're visiting the hospital and included it here.

Visiting Hours

We welcome visitors at the hospital every day, but some areas of the hospital have different rules for visiting. Please refer to our visitor hours and guidelines for more information. For specific visitor hours and guidelines, please ask the nurses on the floor you are visiting. If you have questions we haven't answered here, please feel free to call a hospital operator at 312-926-2000.

Discounted Lodging

We have negotiated reduced rates at a number of hotels near the hospital for out of town patients and visiting family members.
