The program is structured to provide intellectual stimulation and learning in the didactic and clinical settings using psychomotor, affective and cognitive domains. It is necessary to prepare students to assume the responsibilities of a sonographer, provide quality patient care and to contribute to their profession by a commitment to professional organizations and life long learning.

Goals

Although the primary goal of the program is to produce fully competent and knowledgeable sonographers, graduation is considered a beginning rather than an end. It is expected that with further experience and continuing education, the entry-level abilities achieved will continue to develop and expand.
