Qualified applicants must meet one of the following criteria and pass prerequisite courses listed below.
Program Option
Upon successful completion of the program,
students are awarded a certificate of program completion as a Nuclear
Medicine Technologist and will be eligible to be certified through
examination by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
The Northwestern Memorial School of Nuclear Medicine Technology offers a 12-month certificate program. There are three options for students to become a nuclear medicine technologist:
